Stayed here twice and checked out other motor lodges nearby. For two people this is an ideal place to stay. Pleasant owner nothing is a problem and shops can be walked to. Hagley park is a short walk away. Recommended.

I stayed or three nights and had a fantastic stay. The motel offers great location to both shops and the transalpine. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. As a solo traveller it is always a pleasure to have a great host during a stay in a new city. Great hospitality, great location and a comfortable stay.

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms with everything you need. Superbly located for the Tranzalpine and Coastal Pacific trains. Owner Phyllis goes over and above with the free drops off to the station at 6.30am/7.30am in the morning - all delivered with a smile on a dark and chilly June morning! I would definitely recommend Tower Junction motel to travellers to Christchurch. Thanks Phyllis.

Our third visit over the 12 months. The units are very nice, clean, tidy and moderately priced. Always great service from Phyllis. Location really suits us, close to lots of shopping, restaurants and the movies and easy access for us driving in from South

A very friendly and welcoming visit from the proprietor. She was a delight to talk too. Room was lovely and well appointed. Complex is right on a busy road, but didnt hear anything, and slept soundly. Very close to Train Station and the Riccarton Mall, and also not far from airport. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights and chose this motel as it was close to the train station, for the TranzAlpine. It was clean and comfortable and the owner was very helpful. Great to see within walking distance of shopping mall and restaurants. We hope to do another trip later and will stay here again.

The room was clean and nicely furnished with parking directly out the front of the unit. The motel has a very reasonably priced guest laundry and good fast internet. However the host makes this place a cut above the rest as she even got up at 6.30am to give us a free transfer to the railway station to catch the Coastal Pacific. Great service and highly recommended.

Serviced room daily. The bed was really comfortable and had sufficient blankets. The tea and coffee selection was superior. The daily room service was excellent. The outlook of the unit was lovely and I was fortunate enough to get a private spot. I loved this place.

A great place to stay. Within walking distance through the botanical gardens and the lady there couldn't be more helpful. She was a lovely person. I'm very fussy and the rooms were so clean.

This motel is one of the best I have ever stayed in, only stayed 1 night as I was between trains, I would recommend this motel

Really comfortable stay. Facilities top notch. We picked this motel as close to train station as we Arrived on Transalpine train and left early the next day on the Pacific coast. The owner kindly picked us up and returned us the next day for no extra charge. We would use this motel again.

Excellent stay - with friendly, helpful host and super clean, comfortable location! We were recommended Tower Junction Motor Lodge by a family member who had previously stayed here - we too enjoyed the friendliness, excellent location, cleanliness and services provided such as a lift to the Tranzalpine train station. Easy bus trip away from City Centre, Hagley Park and Botanic Gardens accessed from nearby Westfield Riccarton, just up the road!

AWESOME place with THE best customer service from Phyllis who puts extra touches in rooms and nothing is too much trouble for her. Just wish all places were like this. Can't praise it enough.

We had a really nice and extremely comfortable room. What made the stay even better was the free lift that we were given to the railway station for our ride on the Transalpine Crossing. This has been our best night in New Zealand so far! Thank you.

We received a warm welcome and helpful information on check in. Location was perfect for access to the train station. Excellent service from our hostess who drove us, and many other guests, to the station at 6.30am! It was also sufficiently close to central Christchurch to enjoy a good walk into town. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Beautiful, warm rooms, pretty 1 bedroom apartment. Comfortable bed. The owner picked me up from the railway station which I thought was really kind. The motel is only a 5 minute walk from Christchurch Railway Station and is the perfect place to stay if you are travelling on the Tranzalpine train. Short walk also to Riccarton Road and the huge shopping mall, and from there it's a quick bus journey into the central city bus hub.

Very comfortable and surprisingly quiet for the location. We chose this property for the proximity to the station for our early morning Coastal Pacific trip to Picton. The owners offer a complementary shuttle service to the station, which we really appreciated.

Phyllis, the property owner was so nice and helpful. We felt like we had a friend in a country where we knew no one. 10 min walk to restaurants and train. 20 min walk to the heart of the city. Microwave, stove, dishes so we could cook breakfast in our room.

Service at this motel was above & beyond expectations. After arriving very early for our booking we were checked in with no fuss. The room was clean, comfortable & better than expected. The manager, Phyllis provided local information for places to eat & places of interest. When our TranzAlpine train trip to Greymouth was cancelled due to bad weather Phyllis, not only rang the bus company to arrange seats for us, but also drove us to the bus exchange. Exceptional service & a great welcome to New Zealand.
